In Europe a lot of job vacancies are available for researchers at a different level of their career is available. Some of them are advertised by universities and other research institutions on their own websites. In order to help researchers to find available jobs and other fellowships opportunities, the European Commission together with 35 European countries has created the European EURAXESS Portal, supported by the national Jobs portals. JOBS in POLAND PROGRAMMES in POLAND The Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) offers several programmes to foreign researchers who are interested in conducting scientific research in Polish institutions. There are opportunities to establish research teams or to carry out common PhD projects. Research Fellowships for Scholars from CEE Countries is mainly addressed to researchers from Central and East European countries willing to conduct research at Polish scientific institutions. The programme is executed by the Józef Mianowski Fund and the fellowships are sponsored by the Foundation for Polish Science.
EUROPEEURAXESS Jobs website is a recruitment tool free of charge. It contains a wealth of constantly updated information on job vacancies, funding opportunities and fellowships for researchers. As a researcher you can post your CV online and search for offers posted by different organisations. As an academic institution, private research organisation or public research body, both within and outside the EU, you can post your vacancies free of charge and search for CVs from international top-notch researchers. Direct access to the national Jobs portals of the European partner countries is also provided and it contains information on research job and fellowships opportunities in their countries.
PEOPLE Specific Programme of the 7th Framework Programme (2007-2013) aims at strengthening human potential in research and technology in Europe. It is implemented through a coherent set of Marie Curie actions, including individual fellowships. These actions address researchers at all stages of their careers in the public and private sectors.
