Novel approach towards NO-free activators of sGC enzyme for medical treatment of heart diseases
Project coordinator: Dr hab. Dorota Gryko
Fields: organic chemistry, biochemistry, medicinal chemistry
Aim: The goal of this project is to produce new functional mimics for sGC regulation. We believe that chemically modified corrin compounds or other tetrapyrroles may be effective regulators.

Requirements
  • Ph.D.: essential Ph.D. degree granted after September 2005
  • Ph.D. students: essential university degree in organic chemistry or biochemistry
  • students: after 3 years of their studies
Candidates should submit their applications (CV, grade point average for students, transcript of records for graduate students and final Ph.D. studies mark for the postdoc position, recommendation letter (1 for Ph.D students and 2 for postdoc), and covering letter. 
Applications should be submitted before September 15, 2009.
