The "European Molecular Biology Organisation" (EMBO) offers The Long-Term Fellowships, which provide funding for postdoctoral research visits for up to two years to laboratories throughout Europe and the world. All fellowships must involve movement between countries of which one must be an EMBC Member State (European Molecular Biology Conference). Researchers with a maximum of three years of research experience after their PhD are eligible. Furthermore, at the time of application, applicants must have at least one first author publication in press or published in an international peer reviewed journal. The funding comprises travel costs as well as a stipend for the fellow and his/her family.
