Here you find a CHECKLIST of things related to entrance and residence conditions you need to consider before leaving your home country or current country of residence:

  • Visit the nearest Polish Embassy or Consulate and ask for the latest information on the formalities you need to complete before coming to work or study in Poland;
  • Make sure you have valid citizenship documents/national identity card/passport;
  • Consult the website devoted to social security & health insurance to check if the insurance you already have works in Poland;
  • Find out whether you need a work permit and if you do, check what kind of formalities you need to comply with;
  • Consult the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your country to find out about any special bilateral agreements with Poland;

  • Bring copies of your education and qualification certificates - Department of International Programmes and Recognition of Diplomas of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education may be helpful;

  • Check the formalities you need to go through in order to bring your belongings.
