Here you find a CHECKLIST of things related to entrance and residence conditions you need to consider before leaving your home country or current country of residence:
- Visit the nearest Polish Embassy or Consulate and ask for the latest information on the formalities you need to complete before coming to work or study in Poland;
- Make sure you have valid citizenship documents/national identity card/passport;
- Consult the website devoted to social security & health insurance to check if the insurance you already have works in Poland;
- Find out whether you need a work permit and if you do, check what kind of formalities you need to comply with;
- Consult the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your country to find out about any special bilateral agreements with Poland;
- Bring copies of your education and qualification certificates - the Bureau for Academic Recognition and International Exchange in Poland may be helpful;
- Check the formalities you need to go through in order to bring your belongings.
