Job Description:

Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of Physics, School of Advanced Sciences (SAS), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, TN, India.

Title of the Project:

"Kinetics of Phase Separation in Systems of Non-living and Living Objects" 

Qualification:

M.Sc. in Physics

Desirable (if any):

• Basic knowledge in Condensed Matter Physics and  Statistical Mechanics
• Candidates without NET/GATE will be paid as per VIT norms.
• Selected candidate will have an opportunity to register for Ph.D. in VIT

Stipend:

Rs. 31,000 per month plus 8% HRF for the first 2 years, and Rs. 35,000 per month plus 8% HRF for the 3rd year
