Applications are invited for the post of Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Low Temperature Physics in the Department of Physics.

This is a post to work on the measurement of novel superfluid optomechanical devices at low temperature. The post involves the development of experimental tools to build quantum analog systems of black holes to mimic the dynamics of fields in time-dependent spacetimes to study some of the most ill-understood processes in our Universe. The post holder will work in an interdisciplinary consortium uniting the quantum technology and fundamental physics communities, called Quantum Simulator for Fundamental Physics (http://qsimfp.org/).
