Location: University Park
Salary: £39,592 to £54,421 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

We are looking for an Assistant Professor whose expertise lies in Transportation Engineering and welcome applications from well qualified individuals with the ability to teach all aspects of Transportation Engineering in our Civil Engineering programmes.
This post is available on a research and teaching basis.
You will be able to carry out the academic duties to the highest standard and to evidence how, through your personal experience and background, you will be able to:
- Plan and deliver high quality taught modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level in Transportation Engineering
- Supervise final year UG & PG students
- Conduct your own original research and supervise researchers
- Create a bold strategy for your research and show how it will benefit from, and bring benefit to, interaction with your colleagues

- That you can work well in a team and interact with existing research in the team to create greater insight into the complex challenges that transportation engineering faces

This is a permanent, full-time post (36.25 hours). Arrangements for job share may be considered.
