invites the applications for the full-time position for a indefinite period of time
of Assistant Professor
in the Chair of Macroeconomics and International Trade Theory(research and teaching, discipline Economics and Finance)
The competition is open to persons who meet the requirements set in forth in the Act on Higher Education of July 20, 2018 (consolidated text: Journal of Laws 2018, item 1668, as amended)
Candidates should submit the documents in accordance with the Regulations of the Competition Commission WNE UW:
Candidates should have at least a PhD in economics and documented teaching experience in teaching in the fields of economics. We expect the candidates to have a general knowledge of international economics, and in particular open economy macroeconomics, labor economics and international trade theory, as well as the ability to teach in English. We also expect scientific research skills, in particular the use of advanced quantitative methods, be active in applying for grants and participation in national and international research teams. Publications in reputable scientific journals, in particular with IF, and the established publication record and teaching experience are important arguments in favor of the candidate.

The contest will be settled by 25 March 2020. Candidates will be notified about the results of the competition by phone or email. The university does not guarantee a business flat.
The competition is the first stage specified in the Statute of the University of Warsaw for the recruitment procedure as an academic teacher, and its positive result is the a must for further proceedings.
