All candidates must meet the requirements set forth in  Article 113 of the Law of July 20, 2018 - Law of Higher Education and Sciences.

All candidates must:

• have at least doctoral degree;
• have scientific achievements contributing to the development of the field of administrative law, in particular: 

      - scientific publications, including articles in international journals recognised by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and awarded high number of points;

       -  leadership in research projects financed from external funding sources 

• organisational achievements, in particular organisation of conferences contributing to the development of the discipline
• organisation or participation in various forms of international cooperation
• teaching competences valuable for the discipline of legal sciences and for didactics in higher education in the field, in which the candidate will teach (law and administration)

• language competences:

  Polish citizens: excellent knowledge of English or other modern language (at the level required for performance of teaching activities in this language)

  citizens of other countries: excellent knowledge of Polish (at the level required for performance of teaching activities in this language). 

• Scientific publications planned to be published and affiliated with Jan Dlugosz University will be additionally rewarded (the indication of the publisher's name is required).

The offered position requires availability to perform teaching activities at any week day (including weekends) from 8:00 am until 8:15 pm.

Jan Długosz University reserves the right to lower the requirements, in justified cases, taking into consideration candidate's qualifications that are valuable for the development of the represented discipline and necessary for realisation of scientific and didactic policy of the University.

Selection process

List of necessary documents:

• indication of the competition number WPiE.111.1.2026 in the offer;
• application to the Rector;
• personal questionnaire, in case of first-time employment (template in attachment no. 4)
• copy of higher education diploma;
• information on scientific, didactic and organisational achievements in the represented discipline, (template in attachment no. 5);
• declaration that the Jan Dlugosz University will be candidate's first place of employment (template in attachment no. 6)
• declaration on the scientific discipline (template in attachment no. 7)
• declaration concerning the N-number (template in attachment no. 8)
• declaration of no disciplinary penalty, full legal capacity, exercise of full public rights as well as declaration of no criminal record (template in attachment no. 9);
• documents resulting from the Polish Act of May 13 2016, on counteracting threats of sexual crime and protection of minors. 
• At the competition stage: information about the obligation to submit the indicated documents before signing the contract in connection with counteracting the threat of sexual crime and protection of minors (according to the template in attachment no. 10).
  In the case of a person selected in a competition and indicated for verification by head of the organizational unit of the Jan Dlugosz University, additional documents submitted to the Human Resources and Social Affairs Department - before signing the contract:
  - information from the National Criminal Register regarding all files
  - a person with citizenship of another country - information or declaration,
  referred to in attachment no. 10
  - a person who has lived outside Poland for the last 20 years - information or declaration (attachment No. 11)
  - a declaration of acknowledgment that the person will be verified by the Jan Dlugosz University in the Register of Sexual Offense Perpetrators (Appendix No. 1 to the Internal Order of the Rector of the Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa No. R021.1.140.2024, as amended)
• declaration on the processing of personal data (according to the template in attachment no 12).

• Jan Dlugosz University reserves the right to withdraw from the settlement of the competition without giving a reason.
• The result of the competition is not tantamount to candidate's employment, but is the recommendation to the Rector. The final decision is taken by the Rector.
• Applicatons with the necessary documentation should be submitted to the secretariat of the Faculty of Law and Economics or by post to the following address:  42-218 Częstochowa, ul. Zbierskiego 2/4, room no. 203 or 207, tel. (34)378-31-44 until  29th of June 2026 at 3:00 p.m.
• In order to meet the deadline for submitting applications, the date of their reception by the University is decisive. The candidates will be informed about the results of the competition ( June-July 2026).
