Candidates should meet the requirements of Articles 113 and 116 of the Polish Law on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018 and the Statute of West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin. Required qualifications and experience:
1. Master of Science in Engineering in chemical and process engineering or a related field, such as chemical technology, materials engineering or chemistry.
2. Authorship or co-authorship of at least two scientific publications in journals indexed in Journal Citation Reports (JCR), in chemical technology and engineering or related sciences.
3. Professional engineering experience in a Polish or foreign company operating in chemical and process engineering.
4. Laboratory experience in hydrodynamics and mass, momentum and energy transfer in process equipment, including mixing equipment and multiphase systems, with practical knowledge of methods for characterising process systems.
5. Experience in process intensification and optimisation and in developing and analysing technological solutions.
6. Experience in research or R&D projects, including experimental planning, methodology, documentation and analysis of results.
7. Documented English at CEFR B2 or higher and fluent spoken and written Polish.
8. Practical knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, ANSYS Fluent, Aspen Plus, Aspen HYSYS, PTC Mathcad Prime, OriginPro, Statistica and MATLAB, and software used with measurement instruments.
9. Research aptitude evidenced by publications, projects, conferences or research experience; experience in designing, building or modernising experimental equipment; organisational or project achievements; and experience in teaching or co-teaching at university level.

The recruitment committee may invite selected candidates to an additional interview. The Rector makes the employment decision. The announcement sets 7 October 2026 as the deadline for the outcome.
