Outline

The JSPS Prize rewards outstanding scientists in all fields of research (natural sciences to humanities).

What is funded

Approximately 25 prizes (of a JPY 1.1 million - EUR 8,500 value) are awarded per year.

Eligibility

Nominations can be made by institutions as well as individuals, for researchers under 45 years of age of any nationality with at least five years of research experience at a Japanese university or research institution.
