About
The project Małopolska: Fostering Collaboration for Research Success is to develop collaboration among key scientific institutions, universities, public administration and other organisations which support international scientists coming to and working in the Malopolska region of Poland (with Krakow as its capital city).
The launching event will take place in Krakow on January 28th, 2026 at AGH University, in English. Participation is free-of charge.
The project started in June 2025 with duration of 3 years. It is coordinated by AGH University in collaboration with: Jagiellonian University, Cracow University of Technology, University of Agriculture in Krakow, Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
The project is funded from the Polish National Agency of Academic Exchange's (NAWA) programme called NAWA-EURAXESS Network which received funding from the European Funds for Social Development 2021-2027.
NAWA-EURAXESS Network programme
It is a funding programme for Polish scientific institutions which are to develop regional partnerships with other organisations in the region to create and promote attractive environment for doctoral candidates, researchers, and their families who come to Poland. The programme is also to foster Polish institutions' involvement in the European EURAXESS network which supports career development though international mobility of scientific researchers in Europe.
