The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange, in cooperation with the National Science Centre (NCN) and the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) encourages outstanding researchers to apply for this new opportunity.
The TOP200 NAWA programme aims to attract to Poland outstanding research talents from universities ranked 1 to 200 in global rankings (Shanghai Ranking, QS, THE), thereby strengthening research capacity of Polish innovation ecosystem and highlightening Poland as a destination for researchers. It offers stable employment for 2–4 years, predictable research conditions, and opportunities to establish independent research teams. The programme features two tracks:
- Junior Fellow – for early-stage researchers who obtained their doctorate not earlier than 7 years before the application deadline.
- Senior Fellow – for accomplished researchers with experience in leading research teams.
Host institutions provide full-time employment,access to research infrastructure, administrative assistance, and support in preparing future grant proposals. Participants may also benefit from additional funding components: the NCN research component for basic research and the NCBR application component for industrial research and development.
Deadline for applications: 27 February 2026, with results announced by 31 July 2026.
