The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has announced the launch of the call for proposals for the Polonista NAWA scholarship programme.
The initiative offers foreign nationals interested in the Polish language and culture the opportunity to undertake studies or carry out research projects in Poland. The aim of the programme is to promote the Polish language and to popularize Polish studies and research in the field of Polish philology internationally.
The programme provides opportunities to carry out projects in the fields of literary studies, Polish language teaching methodology (glottodidactics), history, art, and comparative studies.
Funding
Under the programme, undergraduate and doctoral students may apply for scholarships for full or partial Polish studies (lasting one or two semesters), with monthly financial support of PLN 2,000 and PLN 3,300 respectively.
Incoming offer
Scholarships for the implementation of research and teaching projects in the field of the Polish language, Polish culture, literature, art, and history in Poland.
Outgoing offer
Scholarships for the implementation of research and teaching projects at foreign academic institutions that offer Polish studies, Polish studies programmes, or Slavic studies with Polish as a language of instruction.
