Offer Description

(Level B) $107,276 to $126,894 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Fixed-term 2 year convertible contract. In the absence of performance issues, this contract is expected to convert into a continuing position after 2 years.

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can demonstrate a willingness to work with colleagues on initiatives and contribute to the administration of the School, Faculty and University.

The Adelaide Business School invites applications for a Lecturer in Marketing. The Adelaide Business School has recently launched a new Bachelor of Business and Master of Marketing including many quantitative courses such as Marketing Analytics, Data-Driven Customer Engagement, and Developing Customer Insights. As such, we particularly welcome applications from those with experience in Quantitative Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Social Media, and Digital Technology.

To be successful you will need:

  • A completed (or soon to be completed) PhD in Marketing or related field.
  • An outstanding track record of research and clear potential to publish in highly ranked journals such as those on the UTD24, FT50, or ABDC: A* journal lists and/or to attract externally funded grants in marketing (cat 1 or industry).
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of high quality and engaging courses, particularly in Marketing Analytics/Quantitative Marketing.
  • Proven excellence in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level in courses similar to Marketing Analytics, Data-Driven Customer Engagement, or Customer Insights.
  • Demonstrated commitment to contributing positively to the discipline, in terms of citizenship internally as well as external engagement with the broader field of marketing.
