Requirements:

• a master’s degree or equivalent in medicine, biology, biotechnology, or a related field;
• at least five years of laboratory experience, including cell culture, as well as experience in small-animal surgery;
• experience with rodent in vivo models and the permits or certifications required to conduct the proposed animal work;
• hands-on experience with relevant techniques such as PCR or qPCR, Western blotting, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, and fluorescence or confocal microscopy;
• authorship or co-authorship of scientific publications in cancer research or neuroscience;
• documented experience in preparing research funding applications;
• ability to formulate hypotheses and independently plan and conduct research;
• strong organizational and teamwork skills, creativity; 
• ability to indicate the Mossakowski Medical Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences, 
  as the first place of employment;
• fluent in spoken and written English.

Additional requirements (desirable):

• experience with animal models of cancer and knowledge of rodent brain anatomy;
• experience with 3D or ex vivo organoid cultures;
• skills in statistical analysis or bioinformatics;
• a record of successful research funding and presentations at scientific conferences.
